«Il y a selon moi beaucoup à dire avec l’érection. Ça n’aurait pas la même puissance expressive avec un pénis à l’état neutre. Le sexe peut devenir une sorte d’arme. Il indique aussi l’excitation, chose assez ardue à représenter en peinture. Mais comme je l’indiquais précédemment, je ne désire pas peindre une érection pour choquer le public.
